SouthEast Veg Visit!
We had an incredibly exciting day at school when the SouthEast Veg team paid us a special visit. They not only taught us about the amazing produce they grow, but they also made sure we had an absolute blast with pumpkin painting and colouring activities! 🎨🎃
During their visit, the friendly SouthEast Veg team, including Paddy, Siobhan, and Kirsty, answered all our curious questions about their factory and the work they do. It was so cool to learn about how they cultivate different vegetables and prioritise healthy, sustainable farming practices. 🥕
The highlight of the day was definitely the pumpkin painting session. We let our creativity flow and transformed ordinary pumpkins into unique works of art. 🌟🎃 The vibrant colours and imaginative designs really made our pumpkins shine!
But that's not all! We are excited to announce an upcoming Pumpkin Carving Competition, where you can get even more creative! 🎃🔪
Send SouthEast Vegetables a photo of your carved pumpkin, and the winner will receive a €100 voucher! 🏆 Simply email a picture of your masterpiece to hello@southeastvegetables.com, along with your name, and the SouthEast Veg team will select the lucky winner. This is a chance to showcase your carving skills and win an amazing prize!
Let's keep spreading positivity, embracing healthy habits, and having fun together! 🌈🥦

GIY - GROW at School Programme
We are delighted to announce that our school has been selected to participate in this year’s GIY GROW at School programme. GROW at School is designed to increase food literacy in primary schools. Through garden-based learning and hands-on growing experiences, we aim to help students develop a deeper understanding of where healthy, sustainable food comes from. This concept, which we call food empathy, encourages children to appreciate the importance of healthy food and understand the process it goes through before reaching their plates.
We have just received our GROW at School pack from Sanofi, and we are looking forward to getting started!
