Green Schools
Green-Schools is Ireland's leading environmental management and award programme, working with primary and secondary schools across the country.

We have previously been awarded flags for Litter & Waste, Energy, and Water at Ramsgrange NS.
​
This year we have been working on the theme of Travel. The ultimate aim of the theme is to increase the number of students walking, cycling, scooting, using public transport, or carpooling on the way to school.
​
We are so thrilled to announce that the Green-Schools Committee at Ramsgrange NS has been awarded the Green-Schools Travel flag! This recognition celebrates the students' and staff's unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability. A special award ceremony, held on the 14th May, honoured the achievements of schools dedicated to creating a more sustainable future. Our Green-Schools committee was also presented with their flag. We look forward to raising our new Green Travel Flag and continuing our effort towards creating a greener future!
